TMS was retained by D’Onofrio General Contractors Corp. to provide waterfront consulting services for MTA Bridges and Tunnels Contract No. CB-18 which replaces the fender system and provides scour protection at the Cross Bay Bridge. Contract CB-18 also replaces the fender at the Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge. TMS is providing management services for D’Onofrio including the following roles:

Design Management. TMS is providing oversight of the engineering consultants to verify that design work complies with project-specific requirements as well as the design schedule.

Value Engineering. TMS works with the contractor and engineers to improve the design that will result in cost and schedule savings.

Quality Management. TMS monitors the engineering and construction submittals to verify that work is checked in accordance with MTA’s QA/QC requirements as well as project-specific procedures developed by the design-build team.

Scheduling. TMS developed and is maintaining the project schedule including design submittals, permitting processes, and construction activities.
